How the articles on consight.ai are written, checked, and corrected.

Who is responsible for the articles

Consight's founders set the rules every article follows, and each article names the founder responsible for its topic. Stewart Toubia, co-founder and CEO, is responsible for estimating work, buying software, and comparisons with other bid platforms. Chris Toubia, co-founder and CTO, for AI and the technology behind Consight. The articles are for people who work in commercial preconstruction, to answer the questions they ask when they write scopes, level bids, and choose software.

How AI is used

Articles are drafted and revised by AI, following the founders' written rules. Before an article is published, a separate AI reviewer checks every figure, product claim, and competitor claim, and automated checks test its sources, its wording, and what its format must include. An article that fails any check is not published.

How claims are checked

Every statement about what Consight does is checked against the product itself: the application, the help center, and the changelog. A claim that cannot be confirmed there is cut. Results Consight customers have seen come from Consight's own customer data, and the text says so. Other figures and quotations name their source in the text, preferring trade bodies, standards, vendors' own documentation, and large or peer-reviewed studies. No number, quotation, customer, or result is invented.

Statements about other companies' products are taken from those companies' official pages and documentation, linked in the text. Before publication, each figure is checked against its source, each product claim against the product, and each competitor claim against the competitor's own pages.

Comparisons

Consight sells software that competes with some of the products its articles compare. Each comparison says near the top that Consight publishes it. Comparisons of Consight with named products, and the roundup of bid leveling software, end with their method: what was reviewed, and the month it was reviewed. "Not advertised" in a comparison means the vendor's public pages do not describe the capability, not that the product cannot do it. Comparisons describe where each product fits and do not rank Consight first. Products change, so check a vendor's current documentation before deciding.

Corrections

When an error is found, the article is corrected. A material revision sets the article's "Updated" date; a cosmetic edit does not change it. To report an error, email support@consight.ai.
