Scope sheet questions

What is a scope sheet in Consight?

The scope sheet is where every subcontractor bid is lined up against your scope of work. It works like a spreadsheet, but bids arrive already parsed and matched to scope lines.

Does the scope sheet replace Excel?

For bid leveling, yes. You edit, highlight, comment and plug numbers the way you would in Excel, with live formulas and totals, but without the manual data entry. You can still export the sheet to Excel.

How do bids get into the scope sheet?

Consight reads each bid as it arrives, extracts pricing, inclusions, exclusions and qualifications, and places them on the scope line they answer.

Can I add plugs for missing scope?

Yes. Add a plug wherever a bidder left scope out, so the leveled totals reflect the full scope.

Can my team comment on the scope sheet?

Yes. Leave comments on any cell so the whole team sees the reasoning behind each decision.

Can I hide bidders I'm not considering?

Yes. Hide or show bidders instantly without deleting their bids.
