Procore + Consight

Procore bid leveling, built around the actual subcontractor proposal.

Run your projects in Procore. Import them into Consight to read every subcontractor proposal, build the scope sheet, and level pricing, inclusions, exclusions and qualifications apples-to-apples before award.

Consight scope sheet leveling subcontractor bids from a Procore project across three bidders, with included, not included and needs review flags

Procore runs the project. Consight does the bid analysis.

Procore covers project management, financials, field work and bidding, and now offers its own Bid Leveling Agent. Consight is a dedicated preconstruction layer: it reads each subcontractor proposal, lays it out on one scope sheet against your internal estimate, flags exclusions and missing scope, and traces every extracted number back to where it appears in the original bid.

What Consight adds to your Procore bidding

  • Imports Procore projects with bid packages, bids and files
  • Extracts pricing, inclusions and exclusions from every proposal
  • Matches each bid to your scope, not just lump-sum totals
  • Surfaces scope gaps, exclusions and qualifications
  • Keeps base bids, alternates and breakouts organized
  • Plugs missing scope while keeping the original price
  • Traces every extracted item back to the source bid
  • Exports a bid tab to Excel

Generate the scope sheet before bid day.

Clear scope before the bids go out makes leveling easier when they come back. Upload the plans and specifications and Consight drafts your subcontractor scope sheet, or import your takeoff or estimate from Bluebeam, OST or Excel. Add company standards, project-specific items and estimator judgment, then level every bid against that same scope.

How it works

From a Procore project to a leveled bid tab

  1. Connect Procore once

An administrator turns on the Procore integration in Settings, then Integrations, and signs in.

  2. Import the project

Click Import on your project list and choose the Procore project. Bid packages, bids and the files attached to bids come across in one pass.

  3. Level Bids reads every proposal

Consight matches each bidder’s items to your scope items and sorts inclusions, exclusions, alternates and qualifications.

  4. Review, plug and award

Approve suggestions, plug missing scope, soft award your pick and export the bid tab.

Still leveling Procore bids in Excel?

Many estimators pull bids out of Procore, retype them into an Excel bid tab, read every exclusions page and add plugs by hand. With Consight the project comes across from Procore and every proposal lands on one leveled scope sheet, so your team reviews instead of retyping.

Built for the realities of subcontractor bid leveling

  • Last-minute bids, leveled without retyping the bid tab
  • Revised bids compared without losing earlier versions
  • Exclusions that make the low bidder not actually low
  • Scope gaps between bidders and trades, caught before buyout
  • Alternates and breakouts kept apart from the base bid
  • Bid citations to verify every AI-extracted number
  • Plugs and adjustments that preserve the original price
  • One live scope sheet for every estimator on the job
  • Procore projects imported in one pass

Consight gives our team a more consistent way to catch scope gaps before award.

Procore bid leveling FAQ

Does Consight integrate with Procore?

Yes. An administrator connects Procore once in Settings, then Integrations. Click Import on your project list, choose Procore and pick the project. Bid packages, bids and the files attached to bids come across in one pass.

Does Procore have bid leveling?

Yes. Procore’s bidding tools include side-by-side bid leveling, and Procore markets a Bid Leveling Agent. Consight is for general contractors who want a dedicated preconstruction layer: scope sheets drafted from plans and specs, every proposal read, and every number traced to its source.

Is Consight a Procore alternative?

For preconstruction and bid leveling, yes. For project management, financials and field operations, no. Most teams keep Procore and add Consight for bid leveling.

Can Consight replace Excel bid leveling sheets?

For most teams, yes. The web-based scope sheet replaces the copying, pasting and comparing usually done in Excel, every line stays editable by the estimator, and you can export to Excel any time.

Can Consight create subcontractor scope sheets?

Yes. Consight can draft scope from your plans and specifications, or import your takeoff or internal estimate from Bluebeam, OST or Excel, for you to review before bid day.

Does Consight also work with BuildingConnected?

Yes. Many teams invite bidders in BuildingConnected and run projects in Procore. Consight imports from both, so bid leveling happens in one place.
