Upload a subcontractor bid
Upload a subcontractor bid to its bid package from the overview, the scope sheet, or the Bids button. Processing usually takes under a minute.
What happens after you upload a bid
After you upload a bid, Consight reads it in 30 seconds to a minute, names the bidder from the proposal, and adds a bidder column to the scope sheet.
Use the bidder menu
The bidder menu, the three-dot icon above a bidder's name, lets you sort, set a status, soft award, rename, request a revision, or hide the bidder column.
Set a bidder status
Set a bidder status such as Pending Info, Needs Rebid, Disqualified, or a custom status from the bidder's three-dot menu to track where each bidder stands.
Request or upload a bid revision
Request a bid revision from the bidder's three-dot menu to flag missing, unclear, or excluded scope, then upload the revised bid to replace the original.
Keep bidder data confidential
Keep bidder data confidential by citing only that bidder's own pricing in revision requests and emails. Connie follows this rule in everything she drafts.
Soft award a bidder
Soft award a bidder from their three-dot menu to mark your pick and push their price to the BidGrid project total. Only estimators and admins can do this.
Self award a package
Self award a bid package when your own forces will do the work. Consight prices it at your internal estimate subtotal plus the package's fee and markup rows.
Send a summary to a bidder
Send a bidder a summary with Request Bid Revision for a structured report, or ask Connie to draft a custom email that includes only that bidder's own data.
