Build bid packages from plans or a takeoff
Upload plans and specs, then set up bid packages in BidGrid. Setup adds one package per trade, using your team's typical packages or a default trade list.
- Upload your plans and specs.
- In BidGrid, click Build bid packages, or ask Connie to set up bid packages. If the files are still processing, setup starts once processing finishes.
- Setup adds one bid package per trade, using your team's typical packages or a default trade list. BidGrid shows its progress with a Stop button, and names any file Connie couldn't read so you can upload it again.
- Rename or delete packages, or ask Connie to change them.
- Setup doesn't generate scope sheets. When you're ready, select packages in BidGrid and click Generate scope in the selection bar, or ask Connie.
Tip: To start from a takeoff instead, upload it as a bid form or takeoff. This works with takeoffs from Togal.AI, Bluebeam, and OST.

Create a bid package
A bid package is one trade or scope you bid out, with its own scope sheet and bidders. In BidGrid, add several at once by cost code or trade name.
Let Connie build your bid packages
Connie sets up bid packages from your plans and specs, or creates the ones you list from cost codes, a takeoff, or a plain list of trades.

Assign a bid package to a teammate
Assign each bid package an owner from your project team. The assignee gets a notification and a to-do list entry. Assignment sets ownership, not access.
