The recommended bid leveling workflow
To level a bid package, set up the project, add files and packages, upload bids, run Level Bids, review Suggested Items and each bidder, then soft award.
You can work in any order, but this sequence gives Consight the most context at each step and saves you rework later.
- Create or import the project, then fill in the project details.
- Upload plans, specs, and addenda to the Files tab.
- Create bid packages and bring in your scope of work or takeoffs.
- Upload bids as they arrive, then run Level Bids.
- Open the Suggested Items tray and approve or dismiss what is there.
- Review inclusions, exclusions, alternates, and qualifications for each bidder.
- Soft award your pick. The price flows to the project total in BidGrid.
Tip: Skipping the Suggested Items review is the most common reason a Leveled Price looks off later. Make it part of every pass.

What Consight does
Consight is a bid leveling tool that reads subcontractor bids, matches line items to your scope, and lines up every bidder side by side in a scope sheet.
Get started with a new project
Every Consight project follows one path. Create it, add bid packages, import or create scope, upload bids, and run Level Bids to match them to your scope.

Why you should still review AI matches
Consight gets most AI matches right, but check high-value items with View in Bid, rate matches thumbs up or down, and do a final pass before you soft award.
Start from BidGrid
BidGrid is your project's Bid Packages tab. Fill it from your plans and specs, from cost codes, from BuildingConnected or Procore, or with Connie.
