What Consight does
Consight is a bid leveling tool that reads subcontractor bids, matches line items to your scope, and lines up every bidder side by side in a scope sheet.
Consight is a bid leveling tool for preconstruction teams. You upload the bids you receive, and Consight reads them, pulls out the line items, and matches them to your own scope of work. The result is a scope sheet where every bidder sits side by side, with gaps, exclusions, and pricing differences easy to see.
The three things you will use most
- BidGrid is the project-wide view. It lists every bid package, shows where each one stands, and adds up your project total.
- The scope sheet is where the leveling happens. It compares your internal estimate against what each bidder actually wrote.
- Connie is the assistant built into Consight. She can build bid packages, read your documents, draft emails, and answer questions about the project.
How the workflow fits together
Create a project, add bid packages for each trade, bring in your scope, and upload bids. Run Level Bids to match everything up, review what Consight suggests, and soft award your pick. Each step has its own guide in this help center.

What Consight does
Consight is a bid leveling tool that reads subcontractor bids, matches line items to your scope, and lines up every bidder side by side in a scope sheet.
Get started with a new project
Every Consight project follows one path. Create it, add bid packages, import or create scope, upload bids, and run Level Bids to match them to your scope.
The recommended bid leveling workflow
To level a bid package, set up the project, add files and packages, upload bids, run Level Bids, review Suggested Items and each bidder, then soft award.
Why you should still review AI matches
Consight gets most AI matches right, but check high-value items with View in Bid, rate matches thumbs up or down, and do a final pass before you soft award.
Start from BidGrid
BidGrid is your project's Bid Packages tab. Fill it from your plans and specs, from cost codes, from BuildingConnected or Procore, or with Connie.
