Understand the Suggested Items tray
The Suggested Items tray holds bid lines Level Bids could not clearly match. A priced item there does not count toward Leveled Price until you approve it.
When Level Bids finds a line in a proposal that does not clearly match any scope item, it does not force it. It sets the line aside in the Suggested Items tray for you to decide.
- Open the Suggested Items tray after Level Bids runs.
- For each item, decide whether it is missing scope, extra scope, or a duplicate.
- Decide whether it belongs in this bid package or another.
Tip: A priced item sitting in the tray does not count toward Leveled Price until you approve it.

Approve or dismiss a Suggested Item
Approve a Suggested Item with the check mark or dismiss it with the X, one at a time or the whole tray. Approving a priced item updates Leveled Price at once.
Why is Leveled Price lower than Base Bid?
Leveled Price is usually lower than Base Bid because some priced lines are still unapproved in the Suggested Items tray. Approve the ones that belong.
