Why is Leveled Price lower than Base Bid?
Leveled Price is usually lower than Base Bid because some priced lines are still unapproved in the Suggested Items tray. Approve the ones that belong.
If a bidder’s Leveled Price is lower than the number on their proposal, some of their priced lines are probably waiting in the tray.
- Open the Suggested Items tray.
- Look for priced items that have not been approved.
- Approve the ones that belong in the scope sheet.
Tip: Approving the relevant items should bring Leveled Price back in line with Base Bid.
