Create a project
Create a Consight project for each job you bid. Choose New Project, add what you know, and save to land in BidGrid. Import BuildingConnected or Procore jobs.
Each job you bid gets its own project. Everything you upload and every package you create lives inside it.
- From your project list, choose New Project.
- Give it a name and add the details you know, such as project type and size.
- Choose the workspace it belongs in, if your company uses more than one.
- Save. You land in BidGrid, ready to add bid packages.
Nothing on the setup screen is required to move forward. You can always come back to the Project Information tab and add more later.
Tip: Working from BuildingConnected or Procore? Use Import instead of New Project so the packages and bids come in with it.

What to fill in when creating a project
When creating a project, add the type, square footage, unit or story count, wage rules, plans, specs, and notes. Better context gives Connie better answers.
Get around a project
Each Consight project has four tabs: Bid Packages (BidGrid), Files (File Manager), Project Information, and Team. All projects returns you to your list.
Import a project from Procore or BuildingConnected
Import a Procore or BuildingConnected project into Consight to bring over its bid packages, submitted bids, and bid files instead of rebuilding it by hand.
