Get better results from your uploads
Upload clean, text-based PDFs and the full proposal, not just the price page, so Consight catches exclusions and qualifications. Avoid scans and photos.
- Upload clean, text-based PDFs when you can.
- Avoid scans, photos, and handwritten notes where possible.
- Upload the full proposal, not just the price page.
Tip: The full proposal helps Consight catch exclusions and qualifications that a price page alone would miss.

Where to upload what
Upload bids to the bid package, scope or takeoffs to the scope sheet, plans and specs to the Files tab, and cost code lists to Templates & Codes.
Organize files with File Manager
File Manager, the Files tab in your project, creates folders as you add bid packages and bids. Keep plans and specs there, but upload bids to the package.
Supported file types
Consight reads PDF, Excel, and Word files, scans and screenshots, plan sets, spec books, bid proposals, and takeoffs. Clean, text-based PDFs process best.
