Where to upload what
Upload bids to the bid package, scope or takeoffs to the scope sheet, plans and specs to the Files tab, and cost code lists to Templates & Codes.
- Bids go on the bid package. That is what creates a bidder column and lets Level Bids read them.
- Your scope of work or takeoff goes into the scope sheet, through Import Scope or when you create the package.
- Plans, specs, and addenda go in the Files tab. Connie reads them for context.
- Cost code lists go in Templates & Codes.
Tip: The most common mistake is dropping a bid into File Manager and wondering why no column appeared. Upload it to the package.

Where to upload what

Organize files with File Manager
File Manager, the Files tab in your project, creates folders as you add bid packages and bids. Keep plans and specs there, but upload bids to the package.
Supported file types
Consight reads PDF, Excel, and Word files, scans and screenshots, plan sets, spec books, bid proposals, and takeoffs. Clean, text-based PDFs process best.
Get better results from your uploads
Upload clean, text-based PDFs and the full proposal, not just the price page, so Consight catches exclusions and qualifications. Avoid scans and photos.
Connect Procore or BuildingConnected
Connect Procore or BuildingConnected in Settings, then Integrations. An administrator connects it the first time; then click Import on your project list.
